Your first introduction to Dr. Pratt's office will begin with an opportunity for Dr. Pratt to hear about what you've been experiencing, how you feel about your health and the ramifications, and specific expectations you may have of our office.

This is also an opportunity for Dr. Pratt to explain our approach and how we go about doing things, so that you can decide for yourself if this is the appropriate direction for you to establish or maintain your health.

Systemic Evaluation and Treatment
Dr. Pratt uses a form of energetic muscle testing to help you determine your body's primary systemic imbalances. With selective use of individually determined nutritional supplements, dietary patterning, structural body stimulation and balancing, and a host of other traditional and non-traditional remedies to effect regulatory function, she is able to assist your body to re-establish its own balance and structural integrity.

One of the specific methods employed by Dr. Pratt is called Neuro-Kinesiology or Quantum Reflex Analysis. This form of systemic analysis includes the evaluation of the many insults that may have occurred to your immune system. These may include food allergies, chemical sensitivity, unresolved dental infections or dental toxicity, systemic imbalance or deficiency, physical injury, emotional disharmony, glandular/hormonal imbalance and dehydration.

Dr. Pratt reserves treatment time based on your individual condition. New patient cost ranges from $155.00 to $210.00 depending on the patient's individual condition. This cost includes a copy of Sally Fallon's Cookbook, Nourishing Traditions, and a shopping guide to help you make healthier food choices. Subsequent visit intervals are co-determined by you and Dr. Pratt, with a monitoring appointment usually scheduled within a month, then spread out accordingly until your system is stabilized. Follow-up visits range from $94.00 to $150.00 depending on the patient's individual condition.

Structural Balancing Care
Dr. Pratt is able to utilize a wide array of structural balancing methods to fit your specific circumstance. Most spinal alignment corrections can be achieved by gentle action to stimulate your body's own natural recovery and realignment. She is trained in Torque Release Technique, Diversified Technique, Gonstead analysis, Toffness, Thompson drop, Bio-Kinetics and activator stimulation.

Popular benefits routinely achieved clinically with structural balancing are increased comfort while standing, sitting and lying down, along with increased range of motion while moving and bending, with specific relief from pain, stiffness or tight muscles-in patients' terms: relief, release, freedom of movement, and feeling lighter, with restoration of all that energy that was needed to deal with pain or restriction.

One of the lesser recognized reasons that make structural balancing essential is the repair and increased effectiveness of your body's regulatory systems, often resulting in increased ability to concentrate, improved blood pressure regulation, increased coordination and overall vitality.

The fee for new patients with a focus limited to structural balancing care ranges from $75.00 to $110.00 depending on the patient's condition. Follow-up visits start at $45.00 with additional charges for any additional modalities.

Tenscam
When appropriate for your specific condition, Dr. Pratt uses a Tenscam, an FDA approved device designed by orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Charles Crosby. This light-emitting device uses scalar-wave technology and has been found to be very beneficial for pain syndromes, neurological disorders, swelling, inflammation, etc. The Tenscam is designed to re-establish the basic resonant frequencies of the body, which act to restore normal function and health without chemicals or mechanical intervention. This modality can be used as a primary form of care for a problem, or in addition to other forms of treatment. Cost of this treatment is $50.00.

Infra-red Sauna
We have added a Health Mate infra-red sauna room to the practice to bring you this traditional healing ritual with the added benefits of infra-red light. This therapy is 1/2 hour of seated relaxation in a quiet room. During this time you can read, listen to music, talk on the phone, or sit quietly and take a needed break. You wear your own cotton clothes to absorb perspiration and we provide water with a packet of easy to absorb electrolytes. In a 1/2 hour you will have exercised like the astronauts do - with infra-red. This 1/2 hour therapy increases blood circulation, helps detoxify heavy metals and chemicals from your body, helps to relieve aches and pains, burns 300 calories in a 1/2 hour session, helps to improve skin, and induces relaxation.

The cost is $25.00 for a 30-minute session. You can also purchase a 10-session package for $180.00. You bring your own long sleeved cotton shirt and long cotton pants to absorb perspiration.

For an additional $5.00 you can rent clothes to wear in the sauna to absorb perspiration.

Each session includes fresh filtered water, electrolytes package, and towels. The use of our sauna is available to people outside of our practice.

Alpha-Sonic
The Alpha-Sonic is a vibrational sound-wave device that is held on top of your head for 3 minutes. This treatment helps align your energetic system similar to acupuncture. It is also known to help emotional regulation by allowing calming and to bring inspiration and inner guidance. Each treatment is $20.00, with your chiropractic visit, add $15.00.

Emotional Care
Dr. Pratt provides several techniques that assist self-regulation of your emotions. One is called Psycho-kinesiology or as it is also known, Psycho-Neurobiology or Applied Psycho-Neurobiology. This technique is intended to relieve layers of emotional trauma by using the emotional reprogramming of rapid eye movement combined with neurological access into the brain with the use of color. This technique is often performed 10 to 15 times and the effects are usually quite dramatic. The process is scheduled for 1/2 hour and the cost is $65.00 per session.

Another technique provided by Dr. Pratt is Thought Field Therapy, which is similar to Emotional Freedom Technique, a self-help technique brought to light by Dr. Joe Mercola of Mercola.com. Thought Field Therapy and Emotional Freedom Technique use specific points on the body that the patient taps to deprogram or balance specific fears, behaviors, stresses and feelings. This technique is very effective in deprogramming unwanted emotions or programming positive emotions and is usually performed 5 to 15 times for optimum effectiveness. The process is scheduled for 1/2 hour and the cost is $65.00 per session. Dr. Pratt or her staff can perform Emotional Freedom Technique over the phone. Upon receipt of the written materials, a session is approximately 1/2 hour and the cost is $65.00. She or her staff is willing to teach Emotional Freedom Technique to patients to help themselves and their friends and loved ones. Training is 1 hour and the fee is $130.00.

Equine Care
Using energetic muscle testing, and range-of-motion observations similar to human chiropractic, Dr. Pratt performs an evaluation of a horse's systemic and structural balance in order to assess the ability to develop or restore higher performance, improved behavior, and vitality.

Dr. Pratt's equine services are not intended to be a substitute for veterinary care or to treat any specific disease, and are applied with veterinary approval.

Your first introduction to Dr. Pratt's equine services will include an opportunity for Dr. Pratt to hear about your horse's condition, how that condition may impact your horse's usability, what if any previous steps you may have taken, and your expectations for improvement. As Dr. Pratt's services are not intended to treat disease, but rather are expected to stimulate or release your horse's natural body function, leading to dramatic improvement in performance and behavior, many of Dr. Pratt's clients commit to care for their horse because of their desire to see their animal partners lead more vital, functional, and, some people feel, happier lives.
